Kokkolan SyysKamari, a chamber music festival, takes place every year in August and/or September. The artists are the most renowned young Finnish talents. One of Kokkolan SyysKamari’s main goals is to bring young virtuosos togehter to enjoy the intimate atmosphere and to create unique chamber music experiences. The program consists of chamber music jewels from the baroque era to these very days. Artistic directors: Antto Tunkkari, cello & Pauli Pappinen, double bass.

Seinäjoki City Orchestra, 2026

The musicans of the Seinäjoki City Orchestra (SKOR) consists a string quintet and a wind quintet, the orchestra's focus is on chamber music. SKOR also regularly performs symphonic music and jazz. The concerts feature a greater variety of classical orchestral music. Cast aside your preconceptions, throw yourself into the vortex of music and create your own imagination of melodies with SKOR!

Rusk Chamber Music in Jakobstad

2026: A Sparkling Future – Young & Immortal
RUSK is a chamber music festival held annually in Pietarsaari/Jakobstad, Finland at the end of November. RUSK seeks to reflect the present day and age with its myriad variations and challenges. It is a melting pot in which creativity is unleashed in exotic contexts at the darkest, bleakest time of the northern year. In 2020 conductor Anna-Maria Helsing was appointed as new artistic director of RUSK.

Operafestival in Kokkola

The Middle Ostrobothnian Chamber opera association was founded in the year 2019 and arranges every year since year 2023 a three-day chamber opera festival in the city of Kokkola with new opera productions and operas for children.

Korsholman Musicfestival

21.–28.7.2027

Artistic Director, cellist Jan-Erik Gustafsson plans the programme for the fifth time in summer 2027. An exciting programme for old an young listeners with traditional and contemporary chamber music with pop and soul! Korsholm Music Festival will continue the process of sustainable development and fill next summer put focus on climate and the seas.
